The Fraser Valley Angling Guide Association (FVAGA) is a significant contributor to the current Fraser River sturgeon program. The value of the FVAGA in-kind contribution is estimated in excess of $800,000 annually. In addition, considerable effort directed by the FVAGA has resulted in further investigation into juvenile sturgeon recruitment and distribution within the lower Fraser River.
Our Association and its members are committed to Conservation and maintaining a sustainable fishery. Many of our members put in significant hours every year in committees, fish tagging programs and volunteering to ensure the Fraser Valley fishery remains strong for future generations.
